#193 – Back to a Crop Sensor

Crop Sensor

A while back, we discussed some of the differences between a Full Frame camera and a Crop Sensor camera.  Things like noise performance, image framing and depth of field.  One advantage of crop sensor cameras is they can put more pixels on the subject when shooting things like wildlife and sports.  The same 70-200mm lens on a full frame, acts like a 105-300mm lens on a crop sensor body, with a 1.5x crop factor.
