Show #43–Adobe Creative Cloud

Host Mike Howard, Tim Kemperle and Kathleen Bowie discuss Kathleen’s new ExpoDisc, Mike updates us on his switch away from back button focus and then cover the new Adobe Creative Cloud offering, including an Excel presentation from Mike.  Toward the end of the show, the hosts open the hangout to member of the Facebook group and we have a great discussion and answer a few questions to close out the show.

ExpoDisc Neutral White Balance

  • Kathleen purchased the 77mm (largest available) –
  • Kathleen stated she wasn’t confident in getting the right White Balance.  After trying and not being successful in utilizing a gray card
  • The Expodisc cost approximately $100
  • Used on one session to date and the use was very easy.  Setup the subject, set the exposure and walked over to the subject and point toward where I was going to shoot which allowed the Expodisc to set the White Balance based on the light landing on the subject.
  • Mike is now planning on purchasing one for his photography.

Mike is looking to get a representative from Expodisc onto the show.  A possibility is to have representatives of products on our show that relate to photography such as Shootdotedit.
