Two week vacation…week with her six sisters to the Bahamas on Carnival Cruise lines.  Of interest to the photographers, some of the cheesiest backdrops you could ever see, yet, people spending $$’s thousands $$’s of dollars for these pictures.  Of course we picked the cheesiest of them all to take a portrait together.  The quality of the photographs were fine most likely because the settings are always the same…lighting, equipment, location etc.  The cost of a 8×10 was approximately $27.

Learning lesson:  Do we give the general public too much credit for what the cost of photographs are?  Most people on the cruise (90%) were purchasing multiple pictures.

Kathleen had the opportunity to shoot a wedding this past weekend with Scott Greene.  Opportunity to observe a real pro at a wedding.  Need to keep in mind settings, mode, movement, location…things move real fast.
