Show #4 – Taking photos while on vacation – Extra Edition

This is a supplemental or extras releases of show #4 where host Mike Howard was joined by Tim Kemperle.   If you come out to the live show and join us in chat you would have heard most of this, but in case you didn’t this “extras” show will give you a little insight to the pre and post show conversation.  I normally don’t release this part of the conversation and just cut it from the regular show, however Tim and I had a pretty good discussion about several things I  wanted to share.

Tim and I cover various things from Lightroom to Nik Software’s plugins.  But one key point that Tim brought up as a tip toward the end of the discussion was doing a search of photos taken in your area in order to get photographic ideas.  What I do is go on flickr or Google and search for images with either the name of my city or a landmark or park in the area. I will also search for different types of images, like HDR, pano, infrared, B&W, etc.  Give it a try and let us know if it gives you any ideas.  Great tip Tim!
